ms. keys

i did a drawing of alicia keys a few months ago. but i didn't like it. the symmetry was off and shading was no good. my sister's friend is in love with her and asked me for the picture so i gladly gave it away. this is my second attempt - much better.

right is a closeup
of her eye (i have a problem with eye's - so i'm pretty proud of these).

why so serious

in some of my down time i decided to do some drawing. using celebrities or something i can study a photo and draw some faces - something that's pretty hard for me. i started with the joker from the new batman movie. he has a very iconic face, with lots of interesting details, not entirely symmetrical - a good place to start.

mini cooper

yay - i got my new car!!

pink vines

i did this painting in my bedroom a while ago, but i thought i'd post it here because it's still awesome.

new chandelier

just painted a chandelier in my living room. awesome. i kind of think of it as the shadow / alter-ego of the small light in the celing :)
